Fewer joins. Fewer leaks.

Long-Run Iron

Long-run iron is colour steel rolled in continuous lengths to fit your roof, so there are fewer overlaps for water to find. It's the workhorse of Kiwi roofing — tough, light, and available in profiles and colours to suit any home.

Questions

About long-run iron

What's the difference between long-run and corrugate?

Corrugate is one profile of long-run steel. 'Long-run' just means the sheets are rolled to the full length of your roof rather than overlapped — you can have it in corrugate or a trough/rib profile.

Does coastal salt air affect steel roofs?

Yes — coastal homes get a harder life from salt. We specify the right Colorsteel grade for your zone so the roof holds up where you live.
